MoneyGram International Announces Winner of $75,000 Mother's Day Sweepstakes

MINNEAPOLIS --(Business Wire)-- Oct. 7, 2004 -- Raymond R.(a), a MoneyGram customer from Thousand Oaks, California, has won the $75,000 grand prize in MoneyGram's 2004 Mother's Day Sweepstakes - "Buy a House for Mom."

Raymond, a hobby collector, has used MoneyGram in the past to transfer funds when purchasing items from other collectors located overseas. He has also used MoneyGram to send money to his children when they are traveling away from home.

Anyone that sent a MoneyGram transaction from the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico from April 1 through May 31, 2004, was automatically entered into the sweepstakes contest.
