Wireless Advocates Expands with 25 Navy Exchange (NEX) Locations; Expanding its Military Channel and Helping Service Men and Women Connect

Seattle, W.A., Oct 10, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Wireless Advocates, a third-party provider of wireless products, accessories and services in retail locations throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico, has announced an expansion of its military service channel with the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM). With this expansion, Wireless Advocates establishes a presence on Navy bases across the country, serving the wireless needs of military personnel, their families, and retirees across all branches of the service.

Earlier this month, the first Wireless Advocates center was launched at NEX Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Over the next few months, Wireless Advocates will open wireless centers at up to 25 naval (military) locations across the United States. These locations within NEXs join more than 1,000 private label stores Wireless Advocates operates for retail partners, including Costco, Staples, Army and Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES), the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX). The NEX locations will carry a complete line-up of devices from leading providers including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Boost Mobile, and feature a full range of supporting accessories as well.

"Military personnel consistently demonstrate their commitment to serving our nation, and we are honored to partner with NEXCOM to help Sailors and their families connect via a broad array of products and customizable wireless plans," said Carol Criner, president of Wireless Advocates. "Our wireless sales experts undergo extensive training in wireless products and services, which will provide an immediate benefit to NEX customers. They will experience a positive, consultative sales environment, where our experts will help them determine the best, most cost-effective plan options for their needs." Reflective of Wireless Advocates' dedication to providing superior customer service in its relationship with NEXCOM, and similar to AAFES and MCX, our associates will provide service specifically to military personnel, their families, and retirees. Wireless sales experts assist NEX customers in determining their eligibility for the Monthly Military discounts and will register each qualifying individual. In addition, customers will receive help in setting up auto-pay using their Military Star Cards and suspending their service during deployment.

Highly trained and knowledgeable wireless experts help servicemen and their families make smart choices - whether as a first-time customer looking for advice on service plans or an experienced customer looking to upgrade a current device. During a consultative sales process, Wireless Advocate's associates activates a customer's device, demonstrates how to utilize and manage the device, and set up a variety of services, such as email and voicemail. We also help customers personalize devices based on their needs, offering extended protection plans, supporting accessories, and additional products deliverable to the customer's home.
