FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Procera Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:  PKT), the global Subscriber Experience company, announced today that PacketLogic/VTM, Procera's Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) software solution, is available as a Dell solution. "Together we are making it easier for telecommunications customers to deploy PacketLogic/V solutions by creating PacketLogic-equivalent platforms available as Dell solutions," said Michael Kay, vice president of Business Development at Procera. "In the near future, Procera will have a process for customers to procure a fully validated solution on Dell hardware and services."

This pre-configured solution is a result of the Procera Alliance Program, with Dell joining the program as a strategic partner. This system configuration will be capable of achieving the previously announced 150Gbps of NFV performance running the full suite of PacketLogic/V capabilities.

As NFV and Virtualization are moving from proof of concepts to deployments, network operators need flexibility in how they procure hardware for network functions. Procera's Alliance Program enables customers and regional partners to take advantage of this flexibility by delivering easy-to-deploy hardware platforms from leading telecom solutons companies like Dell.
