Cloud9 Announces Gateway Service to Support Transition from Telephony-based Voice Trading Equipment


NEW YORK, July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud9 Technologies LLC, a cloud-based trading communication platform for financial firms and institutional traders, announced the general availability of the Cloud9 Gateway service.  The Cloud9 Gateway service connects Cloud9 users to their trading counterparties, even if they are not yet using the Cloud9 application, using industry standard private line interfaces. 

Gateway can be deployed on site or as a hosted cloud based service, making it easy to add existing counterparties to your Cloud9 application with no disruption to their business. The Cloud9 Gateway will allow current and future customers of Cloud9 to rapidly migrate from traditional telephony-based systems (turrets) onto a cloud-based service, which improves firms' disaster recovery capabilities. It also gives companies the flexibility to operate a hybrid cloud/line based communication system.
