Senet Publishes Interactive Coverage Map Illustrating Rapid Expansion of The Largest Low Power Wide Area Network in North America

Senet, the first and fastest growing North American provider of public, low-power, wide-area networks (LPWANs) for long range Internet of Things (IoT) applications supporting the LoRaWAN™ protocol, today announced the availability of a unique, interactive coverage map which makes it easy for IoT solution providers, application developers, and ecosystem partners to locate available services by zip code.

The Senet LPWAN interactive map is viewable on the web and mobile web and clearly lays out the availability its reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure. This comes on the heels of Senet's recent announcement regarding its expanded network coverage, bringing its presence to a total of 225 cities and 23 states across the U.S., covering a population of nearly 50 million people.

"We are committed to providing our customers and the IoT developer community as a whole with the best tools and accessibility to critical information that can help with IoT application enablement," said Will Yapp, VP of Business Development for Senet. "The tool's built in zip code search delivers views of Senet's live and publicly available network as opposed to test network view sheds or estimated network coverage based on future deployment plans. As Senet continues to expand its network, this tool will gain functionality and serve as an indispensable resource for evaluating, developing, and deploying LoRaWAN supported products and solutions.

No Network Coverage in Your Area? No Problem.
Senet's flexible deployment models support the ability to grow coverage faster and more cost-effectively than competing providers. Senet has broad experience in nationwide network rollout and the resources and relationships for rapid expansion, allowing for new complete deployments to be made in 60 days or under for outdoor coverage and as little as a few days to a few weeks for indoor coverage.

A Suite of IoT Development Tools and Information
This interactive map is one of several tools and offerings provided by Senet to accelerate IoT application development. The Senet Foundry provides a full suite of training, development tools, and technical consulting services to help developers create and launch LoRaWAN compliant IoT products quickly and efficiently. Additionally, the Senet Developer Portal is an advanced resource designed to allow users to register and manage LoRaWAN supported end nodes and initiate testing on the Senet network.

About Senet, Inc.
Senet, a contributing member of the LoRa Alliance™, is the first and fastest growing provider in North America of low-power, wide-area networks (LPWANs) with its class-leading LoRa® modulation for IoT/M2M applications. LPWANs enable value-driven solutions that can unlock immediate ROI by enabling devices to connect over very long ranges (approximately 15 miles) while delivering very long battery power life (approximately 10 years) for an extremely low total cost of ownership. For applications that require low cost, low power, and long range, the secure Senet network has distinct advantages over cellular, Wi-Fi, and other emerging connectivity technologies for the IoT market. About LoRa™ Alliance
The LoRa™ Alliance is an open, non-profit association that has grown to more than 330 members since its inception in March 2015, becoming one of the largest and fastest growing alliances in the technology sector. Its members are closely collaborating and sharing their experience to promote the LoRaWAN™ protocol as the leading open global standard for secure, carrier-grade IoT LPWA connectivity. With the technical flexibility to address multiple IoT applications, both static and mobile, and a certification program to guarantee interoperability, the LoRaWAN™ is already being deployed by major mobile network operators and is anticipated to widely expand in 2016.

About LoRaWAN™
The technology utilized in a LoRaWAN network is designed to connect low-cost, battery-operated sensors over long distances in harsh environments that were previously too challenging or cost prohibitive to connect. With its unique penetration capability, a LoRaWAN gateway deployed on a building or tower can connect to sensors more than 10 miles away or to water meters deployed underground or in basements. The LoRaWAN protocol offers unique and unequaled benefits in terms of bi-directionality, security, mobility and accurate localization that are not addressed by other LPWAN technologies. These benefits will enable the diverse use cases and business models that will enable deployments of large scale LPWAN IoT networks globally.
