WebRTC has been making great strides of late. A few companies using worth checking out are bistri, Plivo, and twelephone. I'm in the process of testing bistri and twelephone, but I did actual use Plivo's proof-of-concept WebRTC offering, which I'll get into a in a moment.
When it comes to mobile trends in 2013, WebRTC is one to watch.RCR Wireless (News - Alert) just released its list of top seven mobile trends for the year ahead, and WebRTC was near the top of its list.

This IMS-based WebRTC platform should ultimately lead to Web apps that expand the ecosystem for both consumers and the enterprise.
It's 2013, and that means it's the perfect year for Lync 2013. Well, that was launched last year, but now it's offering a single client, enterprise-ready UC platform. Along with that are several new features, so if you aren't using Lync yet, now is a great time to start.
