WebRTC Ready to Roar in Asia

If you are in Asia and can get to Beijing next week, there is still time to register for the Real Time Web Solutions event hosted by WebRTC World. This will be an exciting event, held in the Zhongguancun district of Beijing - the Silicon Valley of China - and will be the first major WebRTC and Real Time Web event in Asia.  It will feature a number of WebRTC leaders, including Chris Koehncke, Dan Burnett, Alan Johnston, Alex Gouaillard, Lawrence Byrd, and more. In addition, it will feature industry speakers from Agora, Intel, CafeX, Spirent, and others.

Included as part of the overall program will be WebRTC University featuring renowned WebRTC authors Dan Burnett and Alan Johnston. They will be debuting the Chinese language version of their bestselling WebRTC book, “WebRTC: APIs and RTCWEB Protocols of the HTML5 Real-Time Web.” They will also provide over 8 hours of in-depth training in WebRTC to bring Chinese developers up to speed in this transformational technology.

The event promises to be a watershed for the Asian market in WebRTC and real-time communications. Agora Labs is the event’s co-producing partner and the company sees WebRTC as a major opportunity in Asia.

According to Tony Zhoa, CEO of Agora, “The Asian market is ready for web-based real time communications. We at Agora are committed to enabling organizations to deliver new innovative applications through global real-time services and are excited to be a leader in co-producing this inaugural event in China.”

The event starts on Tues., Nov 10. Register on the Chinese site here or the English site here.
