CafeX Communications to Share Insights and Experiences at WebRTC Conference & Expo IV

Company Experts Will Discuss WebRTC Development and Deployment in Healthcare and Contact Center Applications

New York, NY June 17, 2014 –CaféX, a leading provider of real-time engagement solutions for mobile and web platforms, today announced that it will participate in the WebRTC Conference & Expo IV, scheduled for June 17-19, 2014, at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia. The company is a Silver Sponsor of the show, and will participate in four educational sessions throughout the conference. CaféX will also be exhibiting its award-winning Fusion Live Assist and Fusion Palettes advanced real-time engagement solutions during the Expo. CaféX will be located at booth 104.

The show –hosted by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), PKE Consulting and Systemwide Media—is considered the premier event for enterprises, service providers, web providers, investors and developers that are examining the vast potential represented by WebRTC (web-based real-time communications.)

“Our company was an early entrant in the WebRTC space, and we are eager to share our experiences with the rapidly growing WebRTC community,” said Kris Hopkins, CaféX senior vice president for product and strategy. “Our Fusion family of products has attracted attention for its groundbreaking ability to light up mobile apps and websites with real-time engagement and cross-channel context using only two lines of code. We are looking forward to contributing our insights to the industry, as well as learn about other achievements and breakthroughs that are regularly occurring in WebRTC.”

CaféX solutions that will be on display at the event include:

  • Fusion Live Assist—connects customers to enterprise and contact center representatives through websites or mobile apps to enable rich interactions via single-click voice and video call initiation, screen sharing, co-browsing, document push, and annotation functionality.
  • Fusion Palettes—relays static and dynamic information about the customer, such as profile data, browsing activity and geo-location, to the contact center for context-based routing, call back, cross-channel analytics and other advanced call treatment scenarios.

Value-added features include:

  • Seamless switching between channels with persistence of contextual data. A customer who initiates a web or SMS chat with one agent can escalate to an in-app voice or video call with a second agent, who is presented with a log of the chat session, summary of online activity and other real-time details about the customer.
  • Applications in the marketplace include remote interview and consultation via video, multi-channel customer service agent engagement, and concierge services for high-value clients.

CaféX’s director of sales engineering, Bruce Marler, will join panel discussions on WebRTC in the healthcare field in two sessions on June 18: “Delivering Remote Patient Care with WebRTC,” at 9:10 am, and “In Room Care Enhancement with WebRTC” at 9:50 am. Addressing the Contact Center application market, Kris Hopkins will participate in the session “Webpages to WebRTC” at 2:40 pm on Wednesday June 18. Hopkins will also join with other industry experts to discuss “Contact Center Options & Decisions - To Integrate or Do WebRTC Separately” on Thursday, June 19 at 8:30am.

Registration for the WebRTC Conference and Expo IV is open. For the latest WebRTC Conference and Expo IV news, updates and information, follow the event on Twitter at @webrtcexpo.
