Zingaya Introduces WebRTC Version of its Widget as Part of Continued Expansion Effort

Zingaya has today made its click-to-call widget available on WebRTC via the newest version of the Google Chrome Web browser, version 23. While the Zingaya WebRTC widget is still in production, it is available for use now to all Zingaya users and customers.

WebRTC is a free, open source project that aims to give Web browsers real-time communications capabilities by way of simple JavaScript APIs, eliminating the need for additional plug-ins and promoting highly accessible video and voice communications across all Internet-enabled devices. Chrome became the first browser to implement WebRTC based on the new W3C P2P communication standard earlier in the month.

"Zingaya developers have been actively involved in the WebRTC standard and are excited to leverage our leadership by releasing our customer service click to call widget on WebRTC via the newest version of Chrome," said Alexey Aylarov, co-founder and CEO of Zingaya. "Customer support desks need to adapt quickly, and our widgets recognize if the end user is using a WebRTC browser or older Flash browsers."

Zingaya, who will be taking part in WebRTC Conference & Expo happening in just two weeks, has experienced growing adoption of its single click call solution by customer service departments in the U.S. as well as internationally. Currently, the solution is seeing more than 250,000 calls per month and nearly one million call minutes through its click to call technology. The company has been expanding its offering likewise, unveiling Zingaya Enterprise earlier this year, which enables developers to build out mobile VoIP apps that include support desk and sales support.

Zingaya enables VoIP calls without a phone or additional required software, allowing e-commerce and other customer-focused organizations embed a widget on their websites, allowing customers to click a button and start speaking to a live customer agent.

Bistri launched its browser-based video conferencing service last week alongside the release of Chrome 23 with WebRTC support. This consumer-oriented service provides quick and easy video and audio-based chatting to all up-to-date Chrome users.
