As impressive as a product may be, as many features as that product may offer, as easy as it may be to use, if no one knows it exists, it really doesn't matter in the least how good it is. That's why Vidtel recently announced availability for its new Vidtel Velocity program, designed to offer its channel partners a host of tools in sales and marketing to help ratchet up the conversations, and eventually, the sales.
Vidtel Velocity is an online portal that contains the variety of tools offered, and all the relevant materials are offered in raw format, allowing Vidtel's partners to use unique branding on said materials, as well as introduce market-specific offers to improve the value proposition of what's offered. Available via Vidtel Velocity are tools like sales presentations, marketing collateral materials, sales datasheets, and even several training tools to help onboard the new crop of channel partners' sales reps.
But it's not just a matter of unlocking the information silo and telling channel partners to take all they can carry; Vidtel Velocity also offers a note of consultancy support, giving those partners access to a set of Vidtel-specific subject matter experts. These experts focus on the sales and marketing of cloud-based videoconferencing, which in turn gives Vidtel's partners a lot of help when it comes to having issues of co-selling and co-marketing alike.
Perhaps best of all for those channel partners, Vidtel Velocity is available at no charge, meaning that whenever the help is needed, it can be accessed without regard for any budgetary issues that may be on hand at the time.
Given that Vidtel has a significant presence in Web-based real time communications (WebRTC), especially in its Vidtel Gateway service, it gives Vidtel a lot of room to run in a market that's seeing increased interest in WebRTC from several fronts. Vidtel taking advantage of such technologies makes it particularly versatile in the market, and allows it to work with several major video conferencing endpoints as well as several different multipoint control units (MCU). Vidtel Gateway can, at last report, work with Google Talk, Skype, SIP, and of course, browsers that can handle WebRTC. WebRTC is having a huge impact on video conferencing, especially when it comes to small groups, so Vidtel's offerings in WebRTC are only likely to help both users and the company itself.
That's good news for companies interested in an easy way to keep in contact, but again, if no one knows about it, no matter how good it is, no one will use it. That's where Vidtel Velocity can come in, giving its channel partners an easy way to not only get the word out, but to also stay on-message and provide a well-rounded presentation that makes Vidtel's options look even better. It also gives the channel partners a shot of credibility, which can improve perception and maybe give some nods where they may not otherwise have been found.
Vidtel Velocity is likely to really help sales partners make the sales where they count most, and in turn, give both Vidtel and its partners a boost to the bottom line. A smart idea all around, and one that should ultimately prove very valuable.
