BrowseTel.com to Showcase WebRTC Cloud Communications Suite at WebRTC Expo

BrowseTel.com, a platinum sponsor of WebRTC Conference and Expo III, has announced plans to showcase its cloud communications suite at the event.

In addition to providing a communications solution for businesses, the WebRTC-based tool offers voice communication, video conferencing, Web chat and co-browsing to give customer service representatives multiple channels for communicating with customers.

BrowseTel.com also offers APIs that allow customers to integrate their existing solutions and to employ third-party applications. Using a VoIP SIP trunk, customers can connect their legacy equipment to the BrowseTel platform.

"We’ve gone beyond a simple call by offering a complete contact center solution," explained BrowseTel.com CTO Matej Zvan. "Companies can have agents using thin client architecture combined with a variety of services."

The HTML5-based Web phone has the functionality both a desktop and a mobile phone. Agents can interact either through the landline phone system or over the Web. Corporate users can establish a closed network without routing their internal calls through a telecom provider. The system offers international telephone numbers to customers in over 80 countries.

In addition to using the Web phone, BrowseTel.com customers can hold conferences with up to eight attendees. Presenters can activate additional channels for co-browsing, which allows them to supplement the conference with visual media.

A BrowseTel.com customer can also generate "Click to Call" buttons on both their websites and applications. Each button's look can be customized to fit in with the design scheme of the website. To implement the same functionality within television ads, print materials and business cards, BrowseTel.com enables users to generate QR codes.

In addition to deploying a Virtual Receptionist, companies can also set up voice scripts to answer telephone calls when employees are unavailable. Additionally, using BrowseTel WebPhone, which is accessible through a virtual business card, companies can stream information using BrowseCast Streaming.

WebRTC technology from BrowseTel.com is available both through Chrome's stable version and Firefox's stable version. Contact center functions can be activated from any BrowseTel.com WebPhone.

BrowseTel.com will display its cloud communications solution at Booth No. 8 during WebRTC Conference & Expo III. The conference continues both today and Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.
