At the recently concluded ITEXPO in Miami, Stephen Corrigan Sales Director at 3CX,spoke with TMC about the company’s move to Dallas and what role WebRTC plays in the future of the communications landscape.
While 3CX has been doing business in America for many years, and has valued distribution partners, earlier last year it made a move to the U.S. and set up an office in Dallas. This move, Corrigan said, was made because the company felt it felt was the right time to establish presence. The office caters to both U.S. and Canadian customers and Corrigan said it believes this big investment will help partners and the market there.
Owning to the success, is an innovative product that’s, “really right for the market right now.”
“We’re changing the dynamics of the market,” said Corrigan. “We have a product that enables our partners to save money and we’re providing advanced communications functionality at an n affordable cost, right across the market.”
Just last month 3CX announced the release of version 12.5 of its 3CX Phone System. It, Corrigan noted, is the first product with a WebRTC gateway integrated in the actual product. See more specifics here.
“I think WebRTC will change the dynamics of the market,” Corrigan said. “Traditionally, advanced features, such as collaboration and video – although desirable for businesses of all sizes, has been expensive for the majority of businesses with this, businesses can leverage 3CX and WebRTC to provide effective communications.”
