This summer is shaping up to be a busy and productive one for Temasys, which is serving as a platinum sponsor and a key participant in the All About the API and Real Time Web Solutions gatherings.
At All About the API, which takes place July 18-21 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the platform-as-a-service company will provide education about WebRTC. Specifically, Temasys wants to help attendees better understand how WebRTC is changing design, development and deployment of real-time communications within apps and on the web.
Temasys, whose technology is in use by more than 2,500 developers and businesses to provide WebRTC-based solutions, will host the July 19 API Live event at the Las Vegas show. In addition to Temasys, API Live will feature Agora.io, Nexmo, Oracle, SmartBear and YTel. This part of the event involves these companies demonstrating how they and their customers are using APIs.
Also at All About the API, CMO Chip Wilcox and CTO Sherwin Sim will lead the In-App Real-Time Communications Tips, Tricks and Traps session. This two-hour workshop will cover best practices in building, buying, making and renting platforms to support real-time communications in apps and on the web. It will cover common challenges of implementations and will present the benefits and risks of choosing a platform partner.
Wilcox will also present during the Marketing: You’ve Created Your APIs, Now What? session and be part of the Raising the Bar for SMS: How Cloud Communications APIs are Driving Innovation in Legacy Telco Services plenary discussion. That plenary session will also feature executives from Twilio, which just had a very successful IPO, and of Nexmo, which Vonage recently acquired. Plivo and Tely founders will also be part of the session.
Then, next month, Temasys will be a platinum sponsor of Real Time Web Solutions. This event, formerly known as the WebRTC Conference and Expo, will take place in New York City and will feature Wilcox leading the plenary panel How Will the Real Time Web Impact Other Communications Solutions of Today?
"Temasys is committed to being a key player in the ever expanding ecosystem surrounding real-time communications, apps and web-based services," said Temasys CEO Bent Rye. "These two events are the must-attend events to be at this summer. We are very excited to interact, listen, learn, present and explain in detail the two most game-changing elements impacting the technologies being deployed today: APIs and WebRTC."
