ECTOR COUNTY RESTAURANT REPORT, Jan. 28 to Feb. 1


Feb 11, 2013 (Odessa American - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- These are the food inspection scores for the week of Jan. 28 through Feb. 1, performed by the Ector County Health Department. Violations dock points, with a perfect score starting at 100.



Violations of food temperature/time requirements are five points each; violations of personnel, handling of food and food and water source requirements are four points each; and violations of facility and equipment requirements are three points each, which establishments have 10 days to correct.

A score of 70 or less requires the immediate shutdown of the restaurant until the violations are corrected and a new inspection is done. Closure is subject to corrective action being made onsite.


Districts are set by the county, with some accounts annexed in order to give the four inspectors an equal load.
