WebRTC Conference and Expo Gold Sponsors to Take Advantage of Industry Opportunity

Imagine being able to integrate phone, TV and computer communications on any Web browser and device. Web Real-Time Communications (WebRTC) is predicted to be a disruptive technology for how both businesses and consumers communicate through the Internet. The open-source project aims to enable rich, high-quality and real-time communications in the browser via simple Javascript APIs and HTMl5 – no plugins necessary.

The technology can be used for everything from video calls to file sharing and it is still in its early stages. That’s not to say the capabilities haven’t been innovative; developers have already enabled phone-to-desktop calling and cross-browser calling.

WebRTC is a hot topic in the industry now. Just last month, sessions were standing room only at Enterprise Connect Orlando to hear about how WebRTC will change the enterprise. Another event that is sure to attract overflow crowds is the WebRTC Conference and Expo, held July 25-27 in Atlanta, GA.

WebRTC Conference and Expo is an opportunity for companies, Web application providers, investors and developers to understand WebRTC and how it will challenge and change much of today’s communication landscape. Attendees will be able to exhibit, network and attend sessions and workshops to stay ahead in the WebRTC industry. There are also prizes awarded for best demo, ready-now, conferencing, visionary and beyond the call solutions.

The event has already attracted numerous attendees and sponsors, including recently added gold sponsors Bistri, StarPound, Teledini, Weemo and Quobis.

"Every day we are seeing exciting new technology breakthroughs and interesting use cases for WebRTC," said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC, in a statement. "Our Gold Sponsors will showcase the great WebRTC technologies that are already available and those that are on the horizon for this growing market segment."

Bistri connects users to social and IM services through its WebRTC browser and iPhone app that connects users to video chat in just one click. StarPound, a cloud contact center solutions provider, offers on-demand infrastructures and outsourcing for companies to design, execute and adapt all interaction-based processes.

Another gold sponsor, Teledini, is a provider of click-to-talk technologies that allows website visitors to push a button and immediately begin speaking to the correct person within an organization, which helps organizations upgrade customer service practices and increase personal interactions. Weemo’s cloud-based video conferencing platform is compatible with PCs, Macs and mobile devices to connect users in minutes.

Last but not least, Quobis offers products and consulting services in emerging unified communication technologies based on open standards. These gold sponsors join many more, including Oracle, Ingate, Digium, AudioCodes and GENBAND. To learn more about becoming a sponsor, click here

"WebRTC advancements are moving quickly and these companies have proven they have what it takes to realize tremendous market success," said event producer Phil Edholm of PKE Consulting.  "We are lucky to be working with such an innovative group of Gold Sponsors for this event."
