Effortless WebRTC Integration with StarLeaf's Cloud-based Architecture

StarLeaf is a company that is focused on delivering an affordable, versatile and flexible calling and video conferencing environment. Its main goal is to make this offering easy to use and very easy to deploy. It wide range of HD video hardware and software endpoints are easily managed from the cloud. This makes its use and deployment achievable, without any training or IT support.

At this year’s InfoComm exhibition, which is going on this week in Orlando, Fla., StarLeaf will be displaying the integration of its cloud-based video calling and conferencing solutions with Web Real Time Communication (WebRTC).

InfoComm is designed for professionals in the audio visual, information communications and systems integration industries. InfoComm 2013 showcases the latest technologies for a variety of areas that include audio, video, display, projection, conferencing, as well as many others.

WebRTC has managed to divide the video conferencing industry. There is an ongoing debate between the kind of impact that WebRTC will have on end-users and the new use cases it will enable. WebRTC wants to enable browser-based applications for video calling, video chat and peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing without the need for plug-ins.

There is no actual release date mentioned at this time, however when it is available StarLeaf will automatically release the WebRTC integration for free. Once it is available StarLeaf’s customers will receive all of the WebRTC benefits with no need to invest in any type of additional infrastructure or even better, no additional IT overhead.

StarLeaf's WebRTC integration will allow users to call others on their mobile client, from their desk or in traditional video conference rooms. These are options that exceed other implementations that would only allow for the ability to meet in conferences.

CEO of StarLeaf, Mark Loney had the following to say, "We see great potential for WebRTC to deliver video communication to the masses. As we are 100 percent cloud-based, our customers will always be amongst the first to benefit from any new or future standard or protocol. The beauty of our architecture is that it allows us to effortlessly deliver new features and functionality, without any hassle, upgrades or costs hitting our end users."

This type of WebRTC integration that allows for a variety of ways to participate in video chats makes it a no brain why more and more companies are beginning to use it.
