Cloud Provider BrowseTel Exhibits Latest Technologies at WebRTC Conference

The WebRTC conference kicked off today in Atlanta, where companies including cloud communications provider BrowseTel are showing off the latest technologies in this fast-growing segment of IT.

WebRTC, which stands for Web-based real-time communication, is experiencing rapid growth as this communications technology begins to catch on more fronts and create not only new opportunities for businesses to use this technology, but also for other businesses to create new products and services around it.

The WebRTC Conference & Expo gives companies, Web application providers, investors and developers an opportunity to understand how WebRTC will challenge and change much of today’s communications landscape.

BrowseTel will present its line of products for corporate and personal communications over a browser. The cloud service provider offers a platform for real-time multi-channel communication within an Internet browser, explained Matej Zvan, CTO of BrowseTel.

“Our goal is to simplify communication for a better world and to offer companies all call and contact center functionalities over a simple interface where they can manage all their interaction points,” Zvan said in a statement.

The BrowseTel platform will be open for third-party integration one level higher than an OS. The company’s chief marketing officer, Gregor Zebic, says that businesses today only need the Internet to communicate, which can also significantly reduce communication costs.

For example, Google has transformed lives into a synergy between technology and daily routines and, thanks to the Internet giant’s WebRTC technology, there are now more than one billion people using browsers compatible with WebRTC.

“Our vision is a world without plastic phone boxes on office desks. Today human communication needs are limited by electricity and data transfer. We don’t need anything else besides the Internet to communicate,” Zebic said. “Now, thanks to Google, we can use Web browsers to deliver all the functionalities that are driving the communication technology further. Offering 80 percent cheaper corporate communication with the support of new technologies is a difference that can push the world of communication to the next level. We are committed to our vision and we welcome everybody that is thinking the same way.”

BrowseTel is exhibiting at Booth #61 at the WebRTC Conference & Expo from June 25-27 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta.
