WebRTC Conference & Expo IV Unveils Tracks Dedicated to Contact Center and Healthcare Challenges and Opportunities


June event offers targeted sessions on the latest WebRTC tech and trends

Norwalk, CT—May 5, 2014— TMC, Systemwide Media and PKE Consulting today announced two new tracks to the upcoming WebRTC Conference & Expo IV, dedicated to contact center and healthcare applications. The event, held June 17-19, 2014, at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia, offers individuals the chance to learn about the latest Web-Based Real-Time Communications (WebRTC) platforms, implementation strategies and new technologies from industry leaders.

The WebRTC Conference & Expo IV consists of a variety of industry tracks and sessions on deployment scenarios, business applications, mobility, security and more. The healthcare track features the following sessions:

  • Delivering Remote Patient Care with WebRTC: This session will discuss applications of WebRTC on remote healthcare from a clinic location and focuses on the technical issues and implementations of these solutions.
  • In-Room Care Enhancements with WebRTC: This session will explore how WebRTC can enable in-room patient care investments that enhance the overall service and outcomes.
  • WebRTC Integration with HIMS: This session will examine the state of readiness for Healthcare Information and Management Systems (HIMS) integration and how it can be accomplished.

Sessions for the contact center track include:

  • Web Pages to WebRTC: This session will focus on how to successfully implement WebRTC applications from a company’s Web site to a contact center agent.
  • Using WebRTC and Feedback to Optimize Self-Service: This session will focus on how to use the information gathered from the contact center to optimize the self-service Web site.
  • WebRTC and Agents: This session will focus on the agent in the WebRTC-enabled contact center. It will explore the use of WebRTC that supports remote agents.
