Voice Elements Platform 5 from Inventive Labs Brings Services Together

There's generally something to be said for consolidating services. After all, when one system can do the job of two separate ones, why not just have the one? Easier to manage, and if something goes wrong in the system, there are fewer potential points of failure to investigate. A system with fewer moving parts is generally easier to repair than its more complex counterpart, and Inventive Labs may have made things a lot easier in communications with its Voice Elements Platform 5, now with support for Web-based real time communications (WebRTC).

The addition of WebRTC support allows Voice Elements Platform 5 to add several significant new features to its overall capability, allowing among other things the ability for Voice Elements Platform apps to add voice chatting functionality right into Web pages that have been built with HTML5. It's effectively allowed the software media and Web applications servers to become one single functioning body thanks to the support of a .NET API that's been seen to work in a variety of separate settings.

As Inventive Labs' president Ron Tanner explains, essentially, a user's browser becomes a phone for purposes of communications, and Voice Elements Platform 5 allows for the integration of both .NET and WebRTC, which brings several critical functions directly to the Web page that can really enhance connectivity. Some of these functions include the ability to play or record audio files, even complete conversations, as well as the ability to bring in speech recognition systems, text-to-speech mechanisms, conferencing and faxing systems, Internet broadcasting and more.

In fact, by some measures, a business using Voice Elements Platform in its various systems could set up a variety of different possible uses, from complete Integrated Agent Stations to click-to-call functions to virtual employee and locator apps and several others. Those interested in getting in on Voice Elements Platform can check out a free demonstration with Inventive Labs' website, as well as get further information on pricing.

But one thing is quite clear: the platform that is WebRTC is not only gaining a lot of ground throughout the larger business environment, but it's also offering more services to those that put it to work. Just look at the array of services that Inventive Voice could offer on the strength of a WebRTC platform; it's hard to imagine working without one in many fields. The ability to use a Web browser as a complete communications tool has a dizzying array of potential uses for those businesses that put it to work, and those that adopt this particular system early may find an advantage over those competitors that fail to grasp the importance of this new communications facilitation tool.
