Priologic Brings EasyRTC Enterprise and More to ITEXPO

There's a lot going on at ITEXPO—running Aug. 27-29 at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nev.—both in terms of products and in terms of general information about the broader industry. Joining the fray of new products making appearances at ITEXPO is Priologic, which brought along its newest version of EasyRTC Enterprise, a complete toolkit designed to help businesses and individuals alike get in on the growing communications medium that is Web-based real time communications (WebRTC).

With EasyRTC Enterprise, those interested in developing applications built around WebRTC, yet aren't very familiar with WebRTC code, can get access to an assortment of tools designed to smooth out some of the bumps that would ordinarily be part of developing in WebRTC code. EasyRTC not only includes both bits of WebRTC code and application source code, but it also allows for encryption on the browser-to-browser level to make transmissions secure between browsers. Further, the resulting products will not only offer support for Chrome and Firefox browsers at the desktop/laptop level, but also for both iOS and Android devices to allow the resulting products to go mobile.

But Priologic will have more up its sleeve than just EasyRTC. As big a development as that is, Priologic will also bring out a live demonstration of the newest version of Tawk.com, which also provides source code geared toward helping develop WebRTC enterprise applications that are specifically customized, making Tawk.com and EasyRTC Enterprise a powerful combination.

Priologic's CEO, Doug Pelton, offered up some commentary on the offerings coming to ITEXPO, saying “EasyRTC provides an easy-to-use client side API that reduces the impact of changes in the WebRTC API, so developers can focus on getting their application built with simple code and graphics changes. They don’t need to be WebRTC coding experts.” Pelton further noted that, between Tawk.com and the rest of the WebRTC source code available, enterprise WebRTC projects' development time can gain a two quarter head start by bringing in Priologic's offerings.

Given that EasyRTC took home the Best WebRTC Tools award from the first-ever WebRTC Conference and Expo event in 2012—followed up by the WebRTC Conference Editor's Choice award in 2013—and that Tawk.com took home its own WebRTC Conference Editor's Choice award, the two products together pose a great deal of opportunity for developers in the field to take advantage of the wide variety of applications posed by WebRTC in general.

With applications ranging from conferencing tools to games to even content casting, WebRTC has a lot going on in the field. Building applications to take advantage of these new developments and potentially even offering up some unique advantages to the field is going to make plenty of opportunity for developers, and with Priologic's EasyRTC and Tawk.com, those opportunities may be easier than ever to get in on.
