AnyMeeting to Demo Browser-Based Screen Sharing at WebRTC Conference and Expo III

AnyMeeting has announced plans to feature its browser-based screen sharing solution at WebRTC Conference and Expo III in Santa Clara, Calif., later this month. If the demo goes well, then AnyMeeting plans to roll out the technology to production customers during Q1 2014.

To use the solution, a presenter simply downloads a browser plug-in. No changes to browser settings are required. After the installation, viewers with WebRTC-enabled browsers can then share the presenter's screen with minimal latency and no viewer-side plug-ins.

Currently, anyone with Chrome 27 can use AnyMeeting's WebRTC platform. The company also supports older browser versions with Flash technology. The platform is designed to enable Web conferencing and webinar presentations with high-quality codecs, low latency and best-in-class echo cancellation.

Businesses can sign up for free plans that offer Pro features for up to 200 attendees. The free option is ad-supported. To get rid of ads, companies can sign up for the Pro 25 plan, which is $18 per month for up to 25 attendees. The top-tier plan, the Pro 200, accommodates 200 attendees for $78 per month.

In addition to being able to ditch ads, subscribers get in-meeting file sharing, custom meeting branding and meeting recording and hosting. They can also use live chat and phone support in addition to the Web and e-mail support offered with the free plan.

People using AnyMeeting can integrate the platform with Facebook or Twitter to promote all of their Web conferences. Presentations can be viewed with mobile devices and presenters can share several types of media including YouTube videos, PDF files and PowerPoint presentations.

The WebRTC Conference and Expo III will take place between November 19 and 21 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. AnyMeeting is a Gold Sponsor of the event.
