Shango and Vidtel Join Forces

Vidtel is teaming up with Shango, leveraging its ecosystem of voice application service providers. As a result, Vidtel will be able to source and manage telephone numbers inventory from its own carriers more easily.

At the same time, Shango will integrate provision and management of Vidtel’s own cloud conferencing functionality into its fulfillment engine, providing new support for video conferencing applications.

Thanks to Shango, Vidtel will be able to manage its native VoIP inventory far more effectively, and acquire important phone numbers from its preferred providers with ease and cost effectiveness unlike any it had before.

Furthermore, Vidtel can use the Shango marketplace’s fulfillment automation feature set, simplifying its trading processes with partners.

On Shango’s end, it’ll soon include support for video conferencing applications. The first of them will be Vidtel’s own cloud-based video conferencing solution, followed by more at a later time.

"Working with forward-thinking service providers like Vidtel that want to be easier to do business with, not only reaffirms the growing need for instant access to cloud-based applications like telephone numbers, but also reflects a growing desire from the wholesale telco community to streamline service fulfillment,” said Shango SVP, John Abraham. “Shango connects the dots across disparate partners, providers and applications, and welcomes Vidtel as a best-in-class customer making every effort to stay ahead of growing customer demand."

Both companies are benefiting nicely from this partnership. Vidtel can source its telephone numbers through Shango’s marketplace, helping it better reach and serve its customers new and old, while Shango is getting its foot in the video conferencing door.

Both companies are attending ITEXPO Miami from now until February 1, held in Miami, Florida. Stop by and see them to learn more about their service offerings.
