Vidtel and Compunetix Partner to Provide Video Collaboration to WebRTC

WebRTC is expanding further, with the addition of video collaboration from Vidtel and Compunetix. The two have partnered up to provide solutions designed to unify video conferencing equipment with WebRTC-based browsers, as well as software such as Google Talk and Skype, creating easily accessible video conferencing on the Web.

Together, the companies are offering a collaboration option based on a high-touch, specialized environment, unique from the ones currently available. The partnership itself was enabled through Chorus Call, which provides premium international conferencing, streaming, and collaboration, which helps show the very importance of what they’re providing.

"The Vidtel Gateway service brings any-to-any solutions to the Compunetix EVERGREEN conferencing platform, broadening the way people can collaborate," says Scott Wharton, Vidtel's CEO. "We make video easy with heightened compatibility matched with the quality and reliability of Compunetix systems."

While WebRTC itself is still taking shape, companies are more than eager to take advantage of all the benefits it can offer. Communication over the Internet has never been quicker or easier, and this partnership helps bring it to the next level with full video collaboration. Innovation marches on, so Vidtel and Compunetix are keeping up with it easily, staying on the cutting edge of innovation.

Vidtel, known for its any-to-any cloud video conferencing services, has plenty of experience connecting endpoints and WebRTC-based browser applications, so its experience is invaluable in this. As for Compunetix, it’s a leader in multimodal conferencing and collaboration solutions, so it knows what the market and its customers want and how to provide it to them.

Together, the two can certainly create powerful solutions that bring the best video conferencing and collaboration available to WebRTC.
