Davincimeetingrooms.com customers can now reserve conference rooms and day offices at locations that are using EVO Technologies' HostedSuite platform in real-time, manage changes and receive instant confirmations.
Virtual meetings, thanks to new video conferencing technology and new standards such as WebRTC, are becoming the rule rather than the exception. As companies try to rein in travel budgets, they are turning to ways people can communicate and work with one another remotely. WebRTC, a relatively new standard that allows people to communicate by voice and video across different browsers and with no plug-ins or applications to download, will soon turn every computer or wireless device with a high-speed Internet connection into a means through which workers can collaborate, chat or hold formal meetings.
