Around the World with 50 Million Users

Temasys’s presentation at this year’s WebRTC Conference & Expo took a different approach than most by framing it in a trip around the world, and focusing on important locations where it was being used.

It began in the Arctic Circle and then focused on how it is used to contact people in remote locations with poor connectivity. The presentation also highlighted Africa, where Temasys ended its presentation at the last conference and then mentioned Temasys’ connections to the up-and-coming social media apps such as Avalable, the dating site from Thailand and YuuZoo, an e-commerce site used in more than 163 countries.

With YuZoo, Temasys has developed social media interfaces that will keep users logged in and accessing content for approximately 10 times the current average to increase advertisers’ access to users.

In India, Temasys services are being used to coach and train people in industrial settings. The company’s vision of a seamless communication from device to device was explained, with an example of a call starting on desktop in an office, switching to a mobile handset while commuting home and ending on a TV at home, with a literal flick of the wrist.

Temasys SDK is also being praised for allowing more features to developers than other RTC vendors. There was some impressive graphics and numbers at the finale and it was basically explained that Temasys can count almost 1 percent of the world’s population as unique users that they interface with by the end of the year.

The company took the Best Conferencing award home for its solution.
