See GENBAND Generation Enterprise in Action

Brad Bush, CMO of GENBAND, recently posted an infographic to visualize the WebRTC landscape. GENBAND itself is included in three of the four categories: developer tools, carrier-centric, enterprise and consumer-centric and technology enablement. The company offers its Generation Enterprise framework for IP convergence and SMARTOFFICE 2.0—the enhanced version of its UC solution that can run on-premises or in the cloud, which features the first commercially available WebRTC client from a major UC player and is a key part of the Generation Enterprise value proposition.

GENBAND’s SPiDR WebRTC Gateway provides open, Web-centric APIs to enable developers to leverage rich communications services of the telecommunications network. It also interworks signaling and media planes between the Web and telecom worlds for service providers and enterprises, and is one of the pillars of the Generation Enterprise framework. The company also offers GENCom for Web, which is a browser-based WebRTC soft client that simplifies the deployment of communications services.

Next week at Enterprise Connect Conference & Exhibition, GENBAND will be showcasing its Generation Enterprise communications portfolio, WebRTC and cloud solutions and use cases of WebRTC for healthcare and other verticals.

“Earlier this year, we introduced Generation Enterprise, which is designed specifically for today’s mobile, cloud-based business communications market, so the timing could not be more ideal to showcase these advances at the premier gathering for enterprise communications and collaboration,” said Jon Jorgl, president of Enterprise Solutions for GENBAND, in a statement. “As one of the pillars of our Generation Enterprise framework, our SPiDR WebRTC solution is already helping customers in key verticals such as healthcare, government, finance and education realize the disruptive nature of Web-based Real-time communications. We’re pleased to showcase the innovative capabilities of SPiDR along with the rest of our industry-leading Generation Enterprise portfolio at Enterprise Connect.”

GENBAND is also a platinum sponsor of the WebRTC Conference & Expo, happening June 17-19 in Atlanta, Ga., which brings together the WebRTC ecosystem of vendors, service providers, developers, and more to discuss the latest industry developments, showcase solutions and case studies and look forward to the future. It will be interesting to see how much changes from now until June!
